Napa and Sonoma Wineries That Allow Children and Babies 2024

Coming to Napa or Sonoma with a toddler or baby or anyone under 21? Well then know that a lot of wineries are 21 and over. But don’t pout, you can still do your Napa or Sonoma trip as long as you pick your wineries from the list below. All of these wineries are family friendly so you don’t have to worry about being in a quiet tasting room stressed out that the people next to you are not happy that your toddler is crawling on the table.

And guess what, the wineries below are all on the PRIORITY WINE PASS so you not only get a happy baby but a happy wallet as well since you can get two for one deals or other discounts if you just show them your pass. In case you don’t know what the heck I’m talking about the Priority Wine Pass is the annual pass that’s good in Napa, Sonoma, Paso, San Diego, even Washington and Oregon. NAPA

Artesa Winery: 20% OFF ALL EXPERIENCES Walk-ins welcome, but reservations recommended on the weekend.

Napa Cellars (Oakville):  2 for 1 Reserve Tasting (Save $40) or 2 for 1 Classic Tasting (Save $20): (707) 944-2565 Priority Wine Pass accepted Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Pestoni Family Estate Winery (St Helena): Great Picnic area!  pick up lunch at Oakville Grocery for a nice picnic. 2 for 1 tastings. Choose either the Heritage Tasting (normally $50pp) or the Legacy Tasting (normally $65pp) 707.963.0544

Grgich Winery:  I always love the experience here! Each passholder will receive 15% off in-person purchases of current release wines, and 10% off in-person purchases of library & large format wines.  You can book this one online.  Just show your wine pass if you decide to purchase wine to get your 15% off.

Brian Arden Winery (Silverado Trail Calistoga): Nice contemporary setting. Receive 2 for 1 tastings and 10% off wines excluding Library wines and non-profit wines.  One pass per two people  (707)942-4767

Sterling (Calistoga): Ride the tram!   2 for 1 on the Sterling Stroll. This is the only experience there that allows under 21.  I believe they charge $20 for the kids to ride the aerial tram. Reservations recommended .  Call  800-726-6136   ($55 SAVINGS)

Castello di Amorosa:  NO DEALS but I think you and your kids will really enjoy seeing the castle.  All ages are allowed, buit note that you have to be 21+ for the tour.  See their website for details

Charles Krug (St. Helena): 1 Estate Tasting fee waived for every $100 wine purchase.  You can book online and they will reimburse your tasting fee if you purchase wine.  ($50 SAVINGS)

V.Sattui (St. Helena): Two for One Premier Tasting per wine pass (reservations required) ($55 SAVINGS) You can picnic here after your tasting.  There is no outside food allowed, but they have a wonderful deli.  Get a bottle of wine (many to choose from!) and enjoy! (707) 963-7774
